RFID LAUNDRY MANAGEMENT

Track Every Item. Reduce Linen Loss. Improve Accountability.

Gain better visibility of linen and uniforms as they move through collection, processing, storage, dispatch and use. Digitise-it uses RFID identification and location tracking to help laundries account for stock, manage uniform issues and identify items that are missing, overdue for return or no longer fit for service.

IDENTIFY. TRACK. ACCOUNT

Know Where Your Linen and Uniforms Are.

Linen and uniforms move continuously between laundry facilities, clean stores, wards, hotel floors, change rooms and individual employees. When stock is managed using manual counts and spreadsheets, losses can go unnoticed and it becomes difficult to confirm what was delivered, returned or remains outstanding.

Digitise-it brings item records, location tracking, issue and return transactions, stock audits and condition management into one solution. RFID makes it practical to identify many tagged items at once, helping your team track stock movements without manually recording every piece.

KEY FEATURES

Track Linen Across Every Location
Maintain a record of individual linen items and their recorded locations, from soil intake and processing through clean storage, dispatch and customer use.

Capture Bulk Movements with RFID
Use fixed RFID readers at key doorways to detect tagged items as they move between process areas. Handheld readers support stock counts, audits and item registration.

Manage Uniforms Issued to Employees
Record uniforms against an employee, department or locker location. See which garments remain assigned, and flag overdue returns or garments still held by employees who have left.

Reconcile Deliveries, Returns and Packs
Track dispatches to wards, floors or customer sites. Where items are grouped into packs or trolleys, compare returned contents with the expected manifest and flag shortages.

WHY RFID LAUNDRY MANAGEMENT?

Make Linen Loss Visible.

Linen can disappear gradually across a large operation: a sheet remains on a ward, a towel leaves with a guest, a uniform is never returned, or damaged stock remains in the active count.
Digitise-it helps you follow movements and custody across the locations that matter. By comparing expected stock with RFID reads and recording issues and returns, your team can identify discrepancies, investigate missing items and improve accountability across internal departments or customer contracts.

THE BENEFITS

Better Stock Visibility. Fewer Unexplained Losses.

Improved stock visibility
See the recorded location and status of individual items across processing areas and customer sites.

Shortages identified sooner
Compare returned packs and trolleys with their expected contents and flag missing items.

Better quality control
Record damaged, repairable and condemned items and control their return to circulation.

Evidence for customer reporting
Maintain movement records, issue history and audit coverage to support contract reviews and stock reconciliation.

RFID IDENTIFICATION OPTIONS

Automate Linen Tracking at the Right Points.

RFID-enabled linen and uniforms can be detected in bulk as they pass through fixed reading points, such as soil intake, clean-room entrances, dispatch areas and uniform issue doors. Handheld UHF RFID readers provide a practical option for room audits, trolley checks, stock counts and registering new items.

Where a fixed portal is not practical, BLE gateways may also support selected tracking workflows. The solution can be configured around your facility layout, textile types, customer sites and required level of automation.

From laundry intake to customer return

Follow the Complete Linen Journey.

Track items through the locations where they are received, processed, stored, dispatched and returned. Record deliveries to wards or customer sites, reconcile packs and trolleys, and keep uniforms assigned to the people who hold them.
When expected items do not return, audits and tracking records help highlight the discrepancy. Damaged or condemned items can be flagged so they do not simply reappear in the available clean-stock count..
